2024 is a year of new beginnings for me and for our family. there have been many changes in the past several months. some of those changes have been very hard. there have been changes that have been good as well.
my eyes are searching for what is next and what the Lord has for our family. in my searching and praying, i think He has led me here. well-not to a blog post, but to this new thing.
prairie bake house came into view in the early days 2023 and i stumbled around well into the summer with how to manage it. the local farmers market was my only outlet at the time and i learned A LOT! there are many things i will do again, but many i will absolutely not do again!
now i am settling on to a path that the Lord has shown me. He has brought clarity and actually He has been inspiring me and my creative vein (i only have one) to break away from what i thought a home based bakery looked like. i am now open to new ideas and ways to serve and bless my community.
i plan to share recipes when i can. there are some i will always hold close to my heart and only pass on to my family. i will post pics of my adventures and my time in the kitchen as much as i can.
